Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Pay Range: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour

Tessenderlo Kerley is seeking to hire a Maintenance Technician to support plant operations at their Fresno, CA facility. The primary responsibilities include troubleshooting and maintaining plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.

The Maintenance Technician will maintain and repair rotating equipment, keep accurate records, conduct preventative maintenance, manage spare parts inventory, and maintain clean work areas.

Preferred Experience: Experience with plant maintenance focusing on pump maintenance, tank agitators, product conveyors, and elevator maintenance is desired but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing plant maintenance procedures.
• Perform maintenance to ensure safety and process reliability.
• Manage equipment records, preventative maintenance, and spare parts inventory.
• Keep maintenance areas organized and clean.
• Troubleshoot and resolve plant process issues.
• Conduct business professionally and ethically.
• Learn to handle, clean, package, and label hazardous waste per HAZWOPER, OSHA, EPA, RCRA, HM-126, and DOT regulations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 5 years in general maintenance.
• Strong technical skills and knowledge.
• Experience with pump maintenance, tank agitators, conveyors, and elevators is a plus.
• Good mathematical and analytical skills.
• Basic chemistry knowledge.
• Proven track record in process maintenance.
• Professional communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations (preferred).
• Ability to work 8-hour day shifts, some weekends, overtime, or 12-hour rotating shifts.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, climb stairs, and perform reaching, pulling, pushing tasks.
• Clear medical clearance for respiratory equipment use.
• Ability to walk up to 1/4 mile regularly.
