Local Candidates preferredYour Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It:As our next Maintenance Technician, you will ensure smooth operations of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on production machines, follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications in addition to troubleshooting equipment malfunctions.Why You’ll Love Working Here:Innovative Environment: Work on cutting-edge technologies and innovative projects that push the boundaries of what’s possible.Professional Growth: Opportunities for continuous learning and professional development through training programs and workshops.Collaborative Culture: A supportive and collaborative work environment where teamwork and knowledge sharing are encouraged.Sustainability Commitment: Work for a company committed to sustainability and making a positive impact on the environment.Inclusive Workplace: An inclusive and diverse workplace where all employees are valued and respected.What You’ll Be Doing:Ensure all machinery, equipment, building structures and facilities are maintained and functioning properly.Performs maintenance on all manufacturing and facility equipment, such as mold presses, pneumatic/hydraulic presses, PLC controlled equipment, electrical testing and miscellaneous plant equipment.Participates in the preventative maintenance program insuring optimum machine utilization.Troubleshoot and repair both mechanical and electrical problems on equipment and provide timely short-term and long-term recommendations.Where applicable, provides timely and detailed information to management on equipment status, issues, corrective actions, and updates on activities that had taken place during the applicable shift.Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required.Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt. May obtain estimates for supplies, repair parts; orders parts as needed.Manage those activities identified in the ATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 13485 procedures.Supports a quality first approach to daily tasks to provide the best product to our customers.Ensures the maintenance of a clean and safe working environment.Responsible for following and adhering to relevant health and safety standards.What We’re Looking For:High school diploma or equivalent.
