Responsibilities
- Ensure all machinery, equipment, building structures and facilities are maintained and functioning properly.
- Perform maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment, including mold presses, pneumatic/hydraulic presses, PLC‑controlled equipment, electrical testing and miscellaneous plant equipment.
- Participate in the preventative maintenance program to insure optimum machine utilization.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems on equipment, providing short‑term and long‑term recommendations.
- Provide timely and detailed information to management on equipment status, corrective actions and updates during shifts.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.
- Maintain equipment, parts and supplies inventories: check stock, anticipate needs, place and expedite orders, verify receipt.
- Obtain estimates for supplies, repair parts and place orders as required.
- Support ATF 16949, ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 procedures and a quality‑first approach to daily tasks.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment and adhere to health and safety standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical school certificate or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (electric and machine repair).
- Self‑directed with a professional attitude.
- Strong teamwork, communication and analytical problem‑solving skills.
- Working knowledge of PC and PLC equipment and systems.
- Ability to lift at least 45 pounds.
