Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Vandalia, OH is seeking a Process Engineering Technician to enhance product transitions from prototype to production while maintaining quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in manufacturing environments and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You'll work collaboratively across teams to optimize processes and reduce waste in a culture of empowerment and mentorship.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience with JMT assembly or similar manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to use measurement equipment during qualification runs.
  • Strong attention to detail in process development.

Responsibilities

  • Run IQ, OQ, PQ, and FQ protocols to qualify products.
  • Conduct test method validations for new testers.
  • Facilitate prototype runs and document production issues.
  • Execute and document pilot builds to confirm readiness for production.
  • Create work instructions for smooth production transitions.
  • Confirm cycle times to validate engineering estimates.
  • Train operators on new processes during production start-up.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Reduce manufacturing waste and process complexity.
