CTS is hiring a skilled and dependable Industrial Maintenance Technician for our Springfield, NJ location. Maintenance Technicians complete maintenance tasks/repairs and responsibilities in accordance with best practices and schedule requirements to meet production schedules.

Essential Duties

1. Is fully competent and approved to perform maintenance tasks & repairs within the scope of responsibility as well as calibration of production equipment.
2. Responsible to complete tasks & repairs as assigned.
3. Responsible to perform preventive maintenance tasks as assigned.
4. Works with operations, production and facility managers to schedule & complete tasks and repairs.
5. Communicates facility or equipment issues to appropriate department representatives.
6. Offers suggestions for improvement of equipment operation or maintenance.
7. Responsible to ensure maintenance shop & plant work areas are kept clean, organized, and safe.
8. Performs other tasks as necessary.

Qualifications

1. 18+ years of age
2. High School Diploma or GED
3. U.S. Person pursuant to ITAR/EAR
4. Successfully pass background check and drug screening.
5. 1+ year related experience in maintenance in a manufacturing/industrial setting.
6. Ability to use mathematical skills.
