Job summary

Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a prominent client in Sumter, SC is seeking Maintenance Technicians to join their team. The role entails troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment, with a focus on preventative maintenance and timely repairs.

The Maintenance Technician will work 7pm-7am on a 2-on/3-off rotation, with days for training from 7am-4pm. Experience with PLCs and electrical/mechanical systems is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in mechatronics, electrical, mechanical or industrial maintenance preferred.
• 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Strong mechanical or electrical aptitude.
• Understanding of PLCs.
• Ability to use hand tools and precision measuring devices.
• Accurate troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Strong communication and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain equipment and machines.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment.
• Install and maintain production equipment and perform emergency repairs.
• Troubleshoot, repair control devices and motors (110 V AC – 4160 V AC).
• Troubleshoot, program and repair PLCs.

Maintenance TechnicianSummary

• Starting rate up to $33.00 hourly


• Direct Hire


• 7pm-7am (2 days on, 3 days off)


• Will train on days from 7am-4pm


• Troubleshoot, repair, maintain equipment/machines


• Preventative maintenance and repair of all equipment


• Install and maintain production equipment, including emergency/unscheduled repairs

Maintenance Technician Qualifications
