Job summary

Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a prominent client in Sumter, SC, is seeking Maintenance Technicians to join their team. Starting rate up to $33.00 hourly. This direct hire role offers a 7pm–7am shift (2 days on, 3 days off) with days training from 7am–4pm.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment and perform preventative maintenance as needed. Responsibilities include installing/maintaining production equipment, handling emergency repairs, and troubleshooting/repairing PLCs

Qualifications

• Asso­ciate degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Maintenance preferred.
• 5 years of work experience in industrial maintenance
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong mechanical or electrical aptitude
• Understanding of PLCs
• Ability to use hand tools and precision measuring devices
• Accurate troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and computer skills

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment and machines
• Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment
• Install and maintain production equipment, including emergency repairs
• Troubleshoot and repair control devices and motors (110 V AC – 4160 V AC)
