Job Description

We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to become a part of our team! You will be responsible for acting in a safe manner, leading electrical projects, assisting with project management, and providing technical/electrical support and repairs to machinery in the production areas, as well as equipment within the building and systems.

Shift: Day and Night available

Schedule: 3-2-2 rotating

Hours: 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am

Pay: $30-40 per hour (based on relevant experience)

Type of employment: Full-Time / Direct Hire

Responsibilities:

• Install and modify electrical machinery, equipment, and circuitry in industrial or commercial plants
• Diagnose causes of electrical or machine malfunctions
• Collaborate with electrical engineers to resolve developmental problems
• Perform routine preventative maintenance
• Ensure all electrical components adhere to standards
• Apply continuous improvement practices such as 6S, etc.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician
• Knowledge of electrical principles, blueprints, AC/DC motor controls, VFDs, and troubleshooting electrical issues
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance
• 1+ years of experience participating in Continuous Improvement projects
• Ability to multi-task effectively
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
• Ability to monitor the quality of machine output
• Capable of lifting up to 35 pounds

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Effective presentation skills
• Resourceful and strategic thinking abilities
