Job summary

ROIS is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support manufacturing operations in Phoenix by performing preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on a variety of industrial equipment, troubleshooting issues, and documenting repairs.

The role requires following safety SOPs, performing LOTO procedures, and collaborating with internal teams to keep site operations running smoothly in a regulated environment. Two years of maintenance experience and a high school diploma are preferred.

Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (Maintenance Mechanic)

Location: Phoenix, AZ

ROIS is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support manufacturing operations by performing preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on a variety of industrial equipment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting equipment issues, completing repairs, supporting new installations, and maintaining accurate maintenance documentation while ensuring compliance with safety and quality requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative, predictive, and on-demand maintenance on industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and utility systems.
• Complete maintenance work orders and document repairs accurately.
• Support equipment installations and ongoing equipment optimization.
• Perform Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and follow all safety requirements.
• Work within regulated manufacturing environments and follow SOPs.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Technical Services, and other internal teams to support site operations.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience troubleshooting industrial equipment and utility systems.
• Working knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic machine controls.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift 20+ lbs., climb, bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces.
• Must be able to wear required PPE and work around manufacturing equipment and hazardous materials.
• Ability to maintain a sterile work environment and complete required medical surveillance requirements.

Preferred: Experience in pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
