Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to work 1st Shift at a manufacturing facility. The role entails installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to keep production running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and 2–3 years of industrial maintenance experience, with strong troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of industrial maintenance experience required.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Able to read blueprints, manuals, and parts diagrams.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs.
• Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking systems.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with production machinery and building systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment runs efficiently and safely.
• Set up and maintain production lines; resolve operational issues as needed.
• Inspect motors, drives, belts, fluid levels, filters, and related components.
• Repair or replace defective parts using hand and power tools.
• Assemble and repair wiring, electrical components, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, scissor lifts, and use rigging/hoists when required.
• Accurately document maintenance and repair work in a CMMS system.
• Follow safety guidelines, SOPs, GMP standards, and maintain good housekeeping practices.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Pay/Salary: Up to $34/hr

Job Duties:
