Job summary

Express Employment Professionals in Omaha, NE, is recruiting for an Industrial Mechanic to support multiple local companies. The role is an evaluation hire with a 7am–5pm schedule and location in Omaha. Pay is up to $40 per hour.

The position requires hands-on experience with industrial machinery, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and fabrication, plus strong safety and teamwork skills. Relocation or travel are not specified.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as industrial, mechanical, or maintenance technician.
• Strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with pumps, conveyors, and rotating equipment.
• Proficient welding and fabrication (certification a plus).

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and mechanical systems.
• Diagnose and service pumps, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic controls.
• Perform fabrication and welding (MIG/TIG/Stick) for repairs and custom builds.
• Inspect and replace bearings, seals, valves, hoses, and fittings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Perform preventive maintenance and maintain accurate service records.
• Work safely and efficiently to minimize downtime.
• Other duties as assigned.

Express Employment on 61st and Center is currently recruiting for an Industrial Mechanic for a few different companies in Omaha, NE.

Position Details

• Type: Evaluation Hire
• Schedule: 7-5pm
• Location: Omaha, NE
• Pay/Salary: up to $40/hour

Job Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and mechanical systems
• Diagnose and service pumps, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic controls
• Perform fabrication and welding (MIG/TIG/Stick) for repairs and custom builds

Requirements
