Job summary

Mister Car Wash, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to join our field service team. You will keep car-wash equipment running safely and efficiently, performing preventive maintenance and urgent repairs across multiple locations.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in industrial maintenance, strong electrical/mechanical skills, and willingness to travel with a company vehicle. This role supports growth with exposure to new equipment and technologies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in industrial or production maintenance (breakdown experience preferred).
• Electrical experience including 3-phase high- and low-voltage systems and control wiring.
• Experience with AC/DC electrical systems, VFD/PLC troubleshooting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair industrial car wash equipment to keep sites running safely.
• Perform routine installation, preventative maintenance, and repairs.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, including high- and low-voltage systems.
• Travel across the market in a company vehicle for scheduled maintenance and urgent repairs.
• Minimize downtime and support equipment rollouts with regional teams.

Jump into a hands‑on role where no two days are the same. As a Maintenance Technician I, you’ll:

• Apply your electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, plumbing, pneumatic, and troubleshooting skills to keep equipment performing at its best
• Perform installation, preventative maintenance, and repairs on industrial car wash equipment
• Diagnose and repair low- and high-voltage electrical systems, including control wiring and 3‑phase power
• Travel across your market, in your company provided vehicle, to complete scheduled maintenance and respond to urgent repairs
• Minimize downtime by responding quickly to breakdowns and equipment failures
• Partner with regional teams on new equipment installations and technology rollouts
• Build strong relationships with teammates who count on your technical expertise
• Take pride in maintaining safe, efficient, and fully operational locations that reflect our commitment to excellence

You’re driven, hands‑on, and ready to be part of a team that gets things done. Ideally, you have:

• 2+ years of experience in industrial or production maintenance (breakdown experience preferred)
• Electrical experience, including exposure to:
  • 3-phase high-voltage systems
  • Low-voltage systems
  • AC/DC electrical systems
  • Control wiring and powered equipment
  • VFD and PLC troubleshooting (preferred)
• Solid skills in at least four of the following areas:
  • Electrical
  • Mechanical
  • Hydraulics
  • Welding
  • Pneumatics
  • Plumbing
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to multitask and respond quickly in fast‑paced environments
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and on‑call hours
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Physical capability to perform the job (lift up to 75 lbs., bend, crawl, and climb ladders)
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required upon hire)
