Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Respond to equipment breakdowns on the plant floor.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment.
• Support SQF, Lean, RBS, and MOS programs.
• Use MP2 CMMS to track tasks.

Job description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to keep the production lines running safely and efficiently. In this role, you will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant equipment, support preventive maintenance programs, and collaborate across teams to uphold our high safety and quality standards.

salary: $62,400 - $70,720 per year shift: Third work hours: 11 PM - 7:30 AM education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and failures on the plant floor
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment safely and thoroughly
• Share knowledge with maintenance team members and support SQF, Lean, RBS, and MOS programs
• Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders
• Utilize the MP2 computerized maintenance work order system to track and manage tasks
• Perform physical tasks including frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Work in varying temperatures and tolerate exposure to packaging materials, raw ingredients, cleaning chemicals, and lubricants
• Perform other duties as assigned

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
• working weekends
