Location: Kings Mountain, NC
Shift:4:00pm to 2:00am
Pay Rate: $26.00-$28.00
Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations by maintaining and repairing equipment related to acoustic materials, including sound absorption, sound barriers, vibration damping, custom composites, headliners & trim, floor mats & systems, thermal materials, high-impact plastics, rubber products, and fabricated products. This role requires strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills to ensure optimal machine performance and minimal downtime.Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on industrial equipment used in the production of acoustic and thermal materials.
  • Maintain, install, and repair machinery that processes sound absorption panels, vibration damping solutions, and high-impact plastic components.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems related to rubber and fabricated product manufacturing.
  • Ensure all floor mat systems, headliners, and trim production lines are operating efficiently with minimal downtime.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools to identify issues in thermal material and sound barrier processing equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
  • Work with production and engineering teams to improve equipment efficiency and production processes.
  • Adhere to safety procedures and company policies while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in industrial maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment with acoustic and thermal materials.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field .
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
    • Proficiency in troubleshooting PLC-controlled machinery.
    • Ability to weld and fabricate parts as needed.
    • Familiarity with rubber processing, composite material production, and vibration damping technologies.
    • Knowledge of industrial safety standards and OSHA regulations.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Stand, bend, and move for extended periods.
    • Work in an environment with exposure to heat, noise, and industrial equipment.
