Job summary

Trident Maritime Systems- Heavy Equipment Group in Iron River, MI seeks an Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment in a manufacturing setting.

You will read blueprints, calibrate machinery, keep accurate maintenance logs, and uphold OSHA safety standards while collaborating with production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; technical or trade school preferred.
• Experience with industrial machinery maintenance.
• Knowledge of electrical systems (motors, PLCs, wiring).
• Familiarity with mechanical systems (gearboxes, conveyors, pumps).
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking systems.
• PLC programming and automation experience preferred.
• Certification in maintenance or electrical systems preferred.

We are looking for an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our Iron River, MI Team! ? The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment in a manufacturing or industrial environment. This role ensures that machinery operates efficiently, safely, and with minimal downtime.

Major Duties

• Perform routine maintenance on production equipment, including inspection, lubrication, and adjustments
