Job summary

Qual IT Resources in Kentucky seeks an Industrial Maintenance Technician for automotive parts manufacturing. 2nd shift (Mon-Thu 5PM-3:30AM) and 3rd shift (Fri-Sun 5PM-5AM) ensure continuous production readiness, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis across lines.

The role emphasizes mentoring maintenance staff, defect reduction, and participating in improvement projects while maintaining strong attention to detail and time management.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree with relevant experience.
• Experience with PLC/HMI (Keyence, Allen-Bradley).
• Robotics experience (Fanuc, Yamaha, etc.).
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel) considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with defect reduction activities and maintenance staff training.

Industrial Maintenance Technician (Automotive parts manufacturing)

2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 5PM-3:30AM

E Shift: Friday - Sunday 5PM - 5AM

Qualifications:

• Proven ability to lead and give directions for troubleshooting and getting to the root cause of equipment failure.
• 2 Year technical degree and work-related experience.
• Knowledge/experience of PLC/HMI (Keyence, Allen Bradley, Etc.)
• Knowledge/experience with robotics (Fanuc, Yamaha. Etc.)
• Knowledge of PC’s and Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Etc.) is a bonus
• Responsibilities include assisting with defect reduction activities, maintenance staff support and training, improvement projects, and root cause and countermeasure activities.

Preferred Responsibilities:

• This position will be responsible for monitoring and sustaining critical KPI for ECU production assembly lines, analyzing maintenance skill sets, developing/executing training, and mentoring maintenance staff. Focusing on improving maintenance troubleshooting and execution.
• The ideal candidate would be motivated to learn and enjoy teamwork, have electrical and mechanical experience, strong attention to detail, excellent organization skills, time management skills, prioritization skills, and strong troubleshooting ability.
