Industrial Electrical/Mechanical Technician

(Night Shift - Prior fabrication experience required)

Located at: 660 Campbell Ct., Lithia Springs, GA 30122

What You Will Be Doing:

• Performing diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and plant equipment.
• Providing emergency/unscheduled repairs during production and scheduled maintenance during machine service.
• Applying mechanic skills in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Troubleshooting and repairing production machines. Fabricating equipment and parts as needed. Mig welding experience is a plus.
• Diagnosing problems, replacing or repairing parts, testing, and making adjustments.
• Performing regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and facilities.
• Detecting faulty operations or defective materials and reporting them and any unusual situations to supervision.
• Some weekend work required and ability to work changing shifts.

Skills You Bring:

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience and/or prior industrial maintenance schooling.
• Prior fabrication experience
• Prior MIG welding experience highly preferred
• Experience in a production or manufacturing environment; Glass industry experience is a plus but not required.
• Control circuit troubleshooting experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of electrical schematics experience.
• Knowledge of 480V 3-phase, 270V, 110V, 24V systems.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Proficient in using multimeters.
• VFD programming knowledge.
• PLC input/output troubleshooting.
• Experience with CNC control systems.
• Knowledge of potentiometers, servos, drives, encoders.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Strong mechanical skills.
