Job summary

HI-LEX North America is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair a variety of building and plant equipment and to construct facility, production and office work areas.

You will work with blueprints and electrical schematics, troubleshoot electrical problems, read ladder logic, and perform preventive maintenance on machinery and building systems. You will also relocate plant equipment and assist with safety and grounds tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical schematics and relay logic.
• Ability to read ladder logic and blueprints.
• Maintenance experience on machinery and equipment.
• Ability to locate and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools and basic trigonometry.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs electrical problems involving relay logic, programmable controllers and electronic devices.
• Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Reads ladder logic and hard wiring blueprints.
• Performs preventive maintenance on machinery and building systems.
• Relocates plant equipment and makes electrical, pneumatic and water line connections.
