Job summary

Helion Group in New Mexico is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical systems across our manufacturing operation. You will work to maximize equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and support efficient production processes.

Responsibilities include inspecting and replacing drive components, performing shaft alignments, maintaining bearings and rotating equipment, carrying out motor adjustments and electrical wiring as needed,

Qualifications

• LOTO procedures and safety standards knowledge.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving and record-keeping habits.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and replace worn or misaligned drive components (chains, sprockets).
• Perform shaft alignments and mechanical adjustments for optimal performance.
• Inspect, replace, lubricate, and maintain bearings, shafts, housings, and rotating components.
• Adjust motor mounts and perform motor alignments; complete electrical rewiring as needed.
