Maintenance Industrial Technician
Position Objective: Conduct maintenance of mechanical processes to ensure high reliability. Repair and maintain machinery such as pumps, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production equipment. Observe operation and troubleshoot failures.

Maintenance
- Oversee mechanical devices during operation, identify complications using testing and measuring instruments.
- Dismantle equipment to examine parts, repair or replace defective ones.
- Inspect parts to ensure they meet dimensional requirements with appropriate tools.
- Adjust, install, lubricate, and clean parts as needed.
- Operate metalworking tools to make or repair parts.
- Test device performance.
- Request parts and equipment for purchase.
- Perform welding repairs.
- Follow manufacturer recommendations for maintenance.
- Perform basic electrical and instrumentation work as required.
Quality Control
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, using food-grade materials for repairs.
- Assist in maintaining equipment to Food Grade standards, meeting SQF requirements.
Human Resources
- Comply with HR policies and employment laws.
Other
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Adhere to safety and security guidelines.
- Participate in knowledge sharing within the maintenance team.
- Communicate regularly about ongoing repairs.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, maintenance software, and email.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Skills & Knowledge (Preferred):
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2-3 years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent education and training.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical terminology.
- Ability to troubleshoot various machinery, pneumatics, robots, and automation.
- Knowledge of laser alignment.
- Welding experience.
- Basic electrical and instrumentation knowledge.
- Experience in food processing.
- Understanding of mechanical components like gears, sprockets, pneumatics, hydraulics, etc.
- Understanding of processing equipment such as pumps, fans, valves, conveyors, etc.
