What You Will Do

Auxo Medical Service Technicians are the face of our company to our customers. In this customer-facing, field-based role, you will travel to hospitals, universities, research, and surgical facilities to provide maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and related services that keep our customers' equipment in top condition. You will build positive, long-lasting relationships with customers and colleagues while fulfilling your responsibilities.

Skills and experience in fields such as mechanical (military, agricultural equipment, vehicles, appliances), HVAC, plumbing, electrical, building maintenance, or related service repair work are transferable and relevant.

Specific skills and experience include:

• 1-2 years hands-on experience in HVAC, commercial plumbing, electronics, mechanics, industrial maintenance, or similar discipline
• Technical training certification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance from an accredited vocational school
• Strong technical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Mechanical aptitude
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals
• Experience using a computer tablet and/or PC
• Understanding of computer programs and applications
• Superior customer relations skills
• Adaptability to multiple, changing priorities
• Ability to operate in a hospital/ambulatory setting requiring sterile uniform use (provided)
• Ability to work independently and flexibly, including outside normal hours when needed
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation

Physical Working Conditions

This position involves lifting up to 75 lbs, bending, squatting, sitting, standing, and twisting. Extended periods in a vehicle are required. Trainees will assist experienced technicians at various customer sites, including hospitals, operating rooms, laboratories, surgery centers, pharmaceutical facilities, and research centers. Flexible scheduling may be necessary to meet customer needs.
