Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in manufacturing.
  • Ability to stand or walk on concrete for up to 12 hours.

JOB DETAILS

Base Pay: $20.50 - $34.50 per hour + $1.00 per hour shift differential

3rd Shift (11pm - 7am)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Install, maintain, improve, and repair equipment, plant, services, and building installations to ensure production efficiency within a safe, well-maintained facility.
  • Respond to technical issues affecting production and perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PM).
  • Manage complex projects requiring innovative solutions, ensuring successful completion.
  • Attend breakdowns, identify faults, and minimize downtime through effective troubleshooting.
  • Diagnose faults, carry out maintenance and repairs on all types of plant and equipment, and restore operational status.
  • Estimate job durations and assess potential consequences of delays.
  • Identify and escalate activities that could cause harm or damage.
  • Report root causes of breakdowns, equipment faults, and concerns to management.
  • Maintain high-quality standards and adhere to all quality regulations.
  • Meet targets related to the quality of parts produced.
  • Log spare parts requirements and usage.
  • Assist in developing and executing PM schedules.
  • Support the moving, installation, and repositioning of machinery and equipment.
  • Utilize the computerized maintenance management system effectively.
  • Plan and prioritize workload to support production efficiency.
  • Complete job tickets and log work on the management system.
  • Operate lifting equipment such as man lifts and forklifts.
  • Maintain workplace standards following the 5S methodology.
  • Ensure proper use and availability of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Report all accidents, injuries, and hazards.
  • Promote environmental safety and adhere to company procedures.
  • Maintain a safe work environment, complying with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Stay updated on manufacturing and engineering trends.
  • Undertake special projects and quality reviews.
  • Plan and track projects or tasks effectively.
  • Complete work within budget constraints.
  • Engage in ongoing training and development.
  • Perform root cause analysis and resolve issues.
  • Work independently on assigned tasks.
  • Train and mentor apprentices and less experienced technicians.
  • Support departmental training needs and provide expertise to trainees.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with CNC maintenance, PLC troubleshooting, and Servo Drive systems.
  • Mechanical inclination and skills.
  • Ability to stand or walk on concrete for up to 12 hours.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the US.
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug tests.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
