Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and plumbing systems. You will read blueprints, use diagnostic tools, and ensure equipment operates within specifications.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, calibrating with meters and calipers, documenting maintenance activities, and ensuring minimal downtime while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.

  • Inspect production machines for efficiency and identify potential issues.
  • Disassemble/repair/replace parts, reassemble, and test.

Job description

The Industrial Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of equipment, including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and plumbing systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in troubleshooting and repairing complex machinery, a strong understanding of blueprints, and proficiency in using various diagnostic and measuring tools.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and plumbing systems to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assess and resolve equipment issues.
  • Use digital or analog volt/amp/ohm meters, dial indicators, micrometers, and calipers to measure and calibrate equipment as required.
  • Set up machines and ensure they are operating within specifications. Perform necessary adjustments and calibrations.
  • Document maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and parts used. Provide detailed daily reports on equipment status and maintenance actions.
  • Inspect and assess the functionality of production machines to identify potential issues and ensure they are operating efficiently.
  • Determine the extent of repairs needed, disassemble equipment, replace or repair parts, construct new parts if necessary, reassemble machinery, and test for proper operation.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
  • Must have in-depth knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulics, and electrical systems maintenance.
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
  • Computer skills including data entry and retrieval (Microsoft Outlook).
  • Ability to read Blueprints.
  • Ability to operate Digital or Analog volt/amp/ohm meter.
  • Use of measuring tools (Dial indicators, Micrometer, and Caliber).
  • Trade school certificate in maintenance or machine repair preferred.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Good communication skills and time management skills.
  • Ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment.
