Job summary

FurstStaffing is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to support safe, productive operations. Must handle electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and welding systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and improve equipment performance.

Shifts vary: 7:00-3:30, 8:00-5:00, and 4:00 pm-2:30 am. The role involves diagnosing and repairing circuits, programming ladder logic, reading blueprints, TIG welding, installation and commissioning new equipment, and training operators.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining electrical, pneumatic, mechanical and welding systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and improve equipment performance.
• Experience programming ladder logic and PLCs.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints for installations and maintenance.
• Welding and fabrication skills, including TIG welding.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, including primary and control circuits.
• Program ladder logic and troubleshoot PLC issues.
• Read and interpret blueprints for installations and maintenance.
• Perform TIG welding and other fabrication tasks.
• Install, set up, and commission new equipment.
• Monitor production machines, ensuring compliance with specifications.
• Conduct root-cause analysis to prevent recurring deficiencies.
• Assist in training machine operators on equipment operation and safety.
• Maintain building infrastructure and support general maintenance.
• Suggest process improvements to enhance equipment reliability.
• Use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) for documentation.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
