Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• This position requires knowledge and ability in the field of electrician with an emphasis on drives and motor controllers, and industrial electronics.
• Inspect, repair, install, and maintain electrical/electronic systems and equipment in an industrial setting.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure smooth work operations.
• Assemble components.
• Conduct inspections to identify electrical issues and recommend solutions.
• Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance; troubleshooting and repairing electrical malfunctions.
• Document project builds and/or repairs by completing production and/or quality forms as applicable.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician.
• Minimum of 1 year of control experience required.
• Knowledge of the difference between AC power and DC power.
• Ability to positively identify wire colors and sizes per AWG.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and equipment repair/maintenance skills.
• Own tools required.
• Able to stand and kneel for extended periods.
• Able to lift more than 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to pass a written basic knowledge test.
