Job summary

DanHil Containers is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our production lines by performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues, and completing timely repairs to maximize uptime. You will work closely with machine operators and supervisors, follow safety protocols, and document parts usage and repairs.

The role requires hands-on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system knowledge.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing equipment repair, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Practical knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electric machine controls.
• PLC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics and technical drawings.
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize equipment failures and production interruptions.
• Diagnose, modify, lubricate, and operate equipment while maintaining industrial control systems.
• Work independently and as part of a team to ensure timely and safe repairs.
• Complete and report all repairs at the end of the shift, including required documentation of parts and material usage.
• Follow plant safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Ensure facilities and production equipment are maintained in a safe and efficient working condition.
• Perform setup, startup, shutdowns, maintenance repairs, and PMs on production equipment.
• Utilize a wide variety of machine tools and equipment to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
