Job summary

DanHil Containers is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support production by maximizing equipment uptime through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.

The role collaborates with machine operators and supervisors to diagnose mechanical issues, perform repairs, and ensure a safe working environment. A high school diploma and 2+ years in maintenance are required, with PLC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing equipment repair, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with teams and stakeholders.
• Flexibility to work weekends and extended shifts as needed.
• 1+ years of experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics and technical drawings.
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize equipment failures and production interruptions.
• Diagnose, modify, lubricate, and operate equipment while maintaining industrial control systems.
• Work independently and as part of a team to ensure timely and safe repairs.
• Complete and report all repairs at the end of the shift, including required documentation of parts and material usage.
