Job summary

Olsten Staffing is assisting a local company in Manning, SC to hire a Maintenance Technician. This role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and facility systems within an industrial environment.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, root-cause analysis, and coordination with vendors. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of maintenance experience, strong communication, and proficiency with basic PC tools; high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; an associate degree is preferred.
• 2 years of maintenance experience in an equipment environment desired.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed and maintain safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of production and support equipment.
• Work under the direction of the Maintenance Lead on maintenance projects and priorities.
• Independently resolve mechanical, electrical, and facility-related issues.
• Execute preventive maintenance plans to reduce downtime as required.
• Diagnose root causes of equipment failure and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain and track critical spare parts inventory.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Tech Lead for repairs, PMs, and upgrades requiring outside resources.
