Job summary

Steel Technologies LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to improve safety, quality and efficiency through preventative, routine, and emergency mechanical and electrical maintenance. You will troubleshoot, input data in CMMS, and document work orders while supporting a safe, reliable production environment.

Responsibilities include performing routine maintenance, minimizing downtime, and addressing safety concerns.

Qualifications

• Mechatronics certificate is strongly desired but not required.
• Experience operating metal working tools such as grinder, band saw, drill press, welding equipment, etc.
• Ability to correctly retrieve and input data in computer using Excel and CMMS System
• Strong mechanical industrial knowledge and basic electrical knowledge
• Ability to operate motor control systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatics, hoists, fire protection and mechanical bearing systems

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on all plant machinery.
• Carry out the preventative maintenance program for the plant.
• Identify safety concerns and communicate non-compliance to supervisor.
• Maintain housekeeping and organization of maintenance areas.
