Altium Packaging in Tracy, California is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform repairs and preventive maintenance on production machinery and blow mold equipment while following Good Manufacturing Practices. The role requires basic math, pneumatics/hydraulics knowledge, and attention to detail, with potential overtime based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Fundamental pneumatics and hydraulics knowledge.
• Basic computer skills for maintenance records and controls.
• OSHA forklift certification is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Install, adjust and repair blow mold, trimmers, palletizer and related equipment.
• Perform mold changes, neck tooling changes, pin and other equipment changes.
• Inspect and replace pneumatic and hydraulic hoses.
• Inspect, rebuild and replace valves and pumps.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all related equipment.
• Maintain machines in optimal processing condition.
• Weld, fabricate and repair various machines.
• Troubleshoot to locate root causes and repair blow mold, baggers and support equipment.
• May operate blow mold or injection machines.
• Communicate with other departments on a frequent basis.
