Job summary

Ken Garner Manufacturing Co in Rural Hall, NC is hiring a Maintenance Tech / Millwright to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on overhead cranes, conveyors, and other electrical/mechanical equipment. Strong electrical skills are required, and typical work hours are Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:30pm with overtime as needed.

Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate problem-solving abilities, a positive attitude, and teamwork, with rewards including competitive pay and excellent benefits.

Qualifications

Must have strong electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
Able to troubleshoot mechanical stoppages.
Proficient in preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
Welding and fabrication abilities are a plus.
Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

PM and repair equipment including overhead cranes and conveyors.
Troubleshoot electrical stoppages and mechanical stoppages.
Minimize downtime through preventive maintenance.
Welding and fabrication as required.
