Job summary

Alltech is seeking a Maintenance Tech in Springfield, KY to perform ongoing maintenance and repairs on equipment while upholding safety standards. This role supports heating and plumbing systems to maintain climate control and operational functionality.

The position requires 4+ years in industrial maintenance, OSHA lockout/tagout and confined-space experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at height. On-call collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in industrial maintenance or equivalent field.
• Experience with OSHA requirements for lockout/tagout, confined space and related safety procedures.
• Must be able to withstand prolonged periods standing and walking.
• Must be able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
• Must be able to work at height.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities.
• Confirm safety standards throughout the facility.
• Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure climate control and functionality.
• Investigate and resolve issues impacting production and safety.
• Maintain high attention to detail to prevent hazards or warning signs from being overlooked.
• Communicate with facility team to raise issues quickly and prioritize actions.
• Cooperate in on-call maintenance rotations and coordinate with colleagues.
