Job summary

Custom Flavors is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our brand-new production facility. You will maintain and repair production equipment, handle preventative maintenance, and ensure safe, efficient plant operations from day one.

You will work collaboratively or independently to support equipment reliability, coordinate with vendors, and follow SOPs while maintaining meticulous upkeep records. This full-time on-site role follows a Tue-Fri, early-morning schedule in Concord, NC.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial or food manufacturing environment preferred.
• Electrical certification or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, adjustments, cleaning, and preventative maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or operational issues and perform repairs as needed.
• Assist with installation, setup, and improvement of new or existing equipment.
• Support preventative maintenance programs and equipment reliability initiatives.
• Complete maintenance work orders and document activities in the ERP system.
• Follow SOPs and monitor inventory of spare parts and tools.
• Coordinate with vendors or contractors and assist with parts shipments.
• Collaborate with production to identify issues and improve reliability.
