Amentum is seeking a General Maintenance Technician III on the 1st shift to join our facility maintenance team in Greenville, SC. This role performs advanced troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on industrial and commercial building systems, including plumbing, pumps, and HVAC related equipment.

Responsibilities include responding to work orders, inspecting equipment, following GMP guidelines, and ensuring safe, high-quality operations.

Competenze

• 3+ years’ experience in mechanical maintenance and plumbing.
• Hands-on maintenance, repair and operation of mechanical building systems.
• Ability to read and understand repair manuals and drawings.
• Experience with SOPs and Work Instructions.

Mansioni

• Respond to work orders and perform maintenance on building equipment.
• Inspect major equipment and take corrective actions as needed.
• Plumb pipes of various types and sizes (PVC, copper, black, threaded).
• Ensure mechanical operations meet standards and safety requirements.
• Work within a team with occasional supervision; maintain GMP compliance.
• Support safe, customer-focused service and quality workmanship.
