Job summary

Apache Mills, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Tech Level II to support the day and swing shifts in Calhoun, GA.

The technician will perform skilled repairs on production machinery and auxiliaries, communicate equipment status, and uphold 6S housekeeping to meet quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of industrial maintenance experience, arc flash and LOTO training, basic welding skills, and comfortable working with electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Qualifications

2-3 years of Industrial maintenance experience
Arc flash training, Storm water training, and LOTO training (Lock out tag out)
Repair mechanical on presses, heat transfers, baggers, ovens, pneumatics/hydraulic track belts
Basic welding skills
Basic knowledge of how to use shop tools and wear PPE
Report unsafe acts
Electrical knowledge would be a plus (not required)
Follow safety procedures and LOTO procedures
Read and understand SOPs/SOCs/work orders/safety procedures
Review preventive and corrective maintenance schedules

Responsibilities

Repair and maintain production equipment and auxiliary machinery
Diagnose faults and perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs
Maintain logs of equipment status and repairs
Follow SOPs/SOCs and 6S housekeeping standards
Cross-train with team members to cover essential duties
Assist higher level technicians with repairs and installations
Adhere to safety and PPE requirements
Maintain regular attendance and reliability
