Apache Mills, Inc. is seeking an Electrician Level II to join our Maintenance Team in Calhoun, GA. The role requires 2-3 years of industrial electrical experience and the ability to troubleshoot multiple voltages in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You’ll be reading blueprints and wiring diagrams to complete projects and ensure equipment reliability.

Typical shifts are 12-hour, with every other weekend. We offer health and vision insurance, PTO, a 401(k), and other benefits. E-verify Employer.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in industrial electrical.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting 480VAC/120VAC/208VAC/24VDC.
• Reading and understanding blueprints and wiring diagrams.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine electrical maintenance in manufacturing/distribution areas.
• Troubleshoot basic electrical systems and read schematics.

Responsibilities for the Electrician Level II include but are not limited to (this is not a complete job description):

• 2-3 years of experience in industrial electrical
• Should be able to check off all requirements in level 1 electrician.
• Knowledge of how to troubleshoot 480 vac/120 vac/208 vac/24 vdc.
• Basic knowledge of how to control circuits and wiring work
• repairing, maintaining, and installing manufacturing machinery and supporting equipment to maximize utilization
• performing routine maintenance and electrical repairs in the manufacturing and distribution areas
• troubleshooting and repairing basic electrical systems
• reading and understanding blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturer’s installation manuals to complete assigned projects
• identifying opportunities for electrical system improvements and communicating those to a member of management
• working safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• meeting or exceeding company quality standards
• maintaining regular and predictable attendance
• complying with company processes and procedures
• following verbal and written instructions
• standing, walking, lifting, bending, stooping, and reaching while working on machinery or equipment
• ability of lifting up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• working cooperatively, courteously, and respectfully with all team members, vendors, and visitors
• performing job duties in variable weather conditions (including hot weather)
• ensuring good housekeeping of all areas on company premises
• successfully completing drug and background screenings
• knowledge of electrical systems and schematics
• previous experience with using hand and power tools
• demonstrated experience troubleshooting and repairing machinery and equipment in a manufacturing environment
• ability to read and understand English
• working 12-hour shifts, must work every other weekend
