Apache Mills, Inc. is seeking qualified candidates to join our Day shift Maintenance Team as Fabricator I in Calhoun, GA. The role supports the maintenance team by performing fabrication, modifications, and repairs to meet quality expectations while adhering to safety standards.

The position requires reading blueprints, measuring, cutting, welding (MIG/TIG/STICK), and operating fabrication equipment. Ongoing responsibilities include documenting work orders, ensuring equipment safety, and

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, work orders, measurements, and fabrication specifications.
• Measure, mark, cut, drill, punch, bend, form, fit, align, and assemble metal components.
• Set up, adjust, and operate fabrication equipment, including shears, saws, plasma cutters, presses, grinders, drills, and related hand and power tools.
• Perform MIG, TIG, or STICK welding when required by the assignment.
• Inspect finished work for accuracy, weld quality, appearance, and compliance with specifications.
• Follow safety procedures including lockout/tagout and PPE.

Responsibilities
