GAF in Tampa, FL seeks an experienced Maintenance Mechanic II to support plant equipment, lubrication programs, and predictive maintenance. You will learn to use MAXIMO Asset Management to detail work orders and grow parts inventory while following strict safety standards.

Ideal candidates have a GED, 2+ years in industrial maintenance, and strong diagnostic skills in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma.
• 2+ years in industrial maintenance preferred.
• Competent with Google Apps and MAXIMO Asset Management Software.
• Good observational and numerical skills.
• Troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read tech manuals and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on plant equipment.
• Develop and update lubrication, vibration, infrared thermography, and ultrasound plans.
• Troubleshoot, install, align, and repair machinery and controls.
• Maintain logs of labor hours and maintenance findings.
• Operate forklifts and lifting equipment.
• Follow safety, process, and environmental guidelines.
