ALPLA Group in North Las Vegas is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to install, repair, and maintain industrial machinery. The role requires diagnosing mechanical issues, troubleshooting PLCs, and performing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

You will support installation and calibration of new equipment, read blueprints, and collaborate with Production, Quality, and Warehouse teams. A 2-year technical degree or ALPLA apprenticeship is preferred to join a growth‑oriented,

Qualifications

• Strong diagnostic skills for identifying and fixing mechanical issues.
• Proven PLC and automation troubleshooting capabilities.
• Deep understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems; able to read blueprints/schematics.
• Certification in PLC programming, robotics, or automation systems is a plus.
• Industry certifications such as maintenance or automation credentials are desirable.

Responsabilités

• Install, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Assist with installation, setup, and calibration of new machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical failures and electrical issues affecting performance.
• Maintain infrastructure equipment and building systems.
• Keep accurate maintenance records and parts inventory; report issues.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Warehouse to improve plant performance.
• Support entry level Maintenance technicians and participate in RCA activities.
• Ensure equipment and automation safety standards (ISO 10218) are followed and risk assessments conducted.
