Job summary

Cintas Corporation in Harahan, LA is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for the 3rd shift to inspect, repair and maintain industrial laundry equipment including washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors and boilers, and to perform preventive maintenance and respond to emergencies.

The role requires reading English maintenance literature, reading blueprints, and welding activities (MIG/TIG/ARC). Mentoring Maintenance Technician I is also part of the position.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military.
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English.
• Experience with and ability to read a blueprint.
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8 hour shift.
• High School Diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, install and troubleshoot industrial equipment including washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors and boilers.
• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance and welding activities.
• Respond to emergency alarms and mentor Maintenance Technician I partners.
