Job summary

Shoals Technologies Group, a global leader in solar electrical balance of systems, is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to ensure safe and reliable operation of our plant equipment in Alabama. You will perform preventive maintenance, assist with electrical repairs, and support continuous improvement initiatives, collaborating across teams to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate has 1–5 years in industrial maintenance, a High School Diploma or GED, and a relevant technical certification.

Qualifications

Minimum 1–5 years of experience in industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
High School Diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform safe, efficient maintenance to improve plant performance (Safety, Quality, Reliability).
Execute preventive/predictive maintenance on wire processing equipment, injection molding machines, and related plant equipment.
Conduct basic electrical repairs under supervision and assist with machine adjustments and alignments.
Support troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Complete work orders, respond to production floor breakdowns, and drive downtime reduction.
Assist in installing and commissioning of new equipment and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
