Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking Industrial Maintenance Technicians for our Batesville, AR bakery. The role focuses on scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, safety, and quality standards, with the ability to rotate assignments across the bakery floor.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years as a technician and experience in HVAC, welding, electrical, or related fields. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; boilers and refrigeration licenses are a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a technician.
• Experience in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, welding, electrical, industrial equipment, automotive repairs, or related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent, Technical/Trade School certification or diploma a plus

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safe work habits, proper tool selection and usage, general shop practices, maintenance tasks, and general knowledge of support equipment
• Perform proper component lubrication and conduct preventive maintenance on specific equipment
• Identify mechanical wear and identify, troubleshoot, and replace mechanical drive and conveyor components
• Use SAP software for parts checkout, reporting, and general data entry
• Maintain clean and safe work environment
• Practice and comply with all Company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.)
• Perform other duties deemed by management to be integral to the job
• Possess or attain licenses required by municipal/state regulatory agencies to work with boilers, refrigeration components and related equipment
