Job summary

PUREM is seeking a Maintenance Technician I for the 2nd shift at our Wixom, Michigan facility. You will inspect, maintain, and repair machinery and electrical systems to keep production running efficiently.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting unusual machine sounds, dismantling and repairing components, calibrating welding equipment, and ensuring 5S compliance. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401k, with PTO and disability coverage.

Qualifications

• Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment and document maintenance activities.
• Listen for unusual sounds to detect malfunction and discuss operation variations with supervisors.
• Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts.
• Clean and lubricate shaft, bearing, gear, and other parts of machinery.
• Install and repair electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
• Layout, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
• Clean, adjust and calibrate welding equipment.
• Maintain 5S in department and periodically participate with audit process.
• Assist in tool, fixture, and material flow and continuous improvements for those areas.
• Assist with maintenance and troubleshooting problems of all equipment; practice safe use of hand and machine tools.
• Supports ENA core values, Environmental, Health and Safety Policy and Quality Policy.
