Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–4 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Welding, brazing, and torch-cutting experience a plus.
• Experience maintaining and repairing industrial equipment such as mechanical presses, hydraulic systems, forging hammers, and cranes.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow written, verbal, diagram, and schedule-based instructions.

Responsibilities

• Performs tasks assigned by supervisor based on different projects.
• Repairs existing equipment and installs new equipment or parts.
• Welds, brazes, and torch-cuts as required.
• Assists in furnace and induction coil repairs, machine fixtures, and components repairs.
• Operates power hand tools and shop equipment; conducts general housekeeping and maintains tools and parts.
• Reads safety policies and maintains accurate routine reports.
• Works in a safe manner and meets deadlines.
