Job summary

Teamaegis is seeking a skilled Back Maintenance Technician to join our heat-treating facility in Farmington Hills, MI. The role covers preventative and corrective maintenance of industrial machinery, including hydraulics, pumps, and mechanical systems.

Strong welding/fabrication skills and safety compliance are required. Ideal candidates will read drawings and manuals, perform diagnostic work, and maintain logs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in heavy manufacturing or heat treating.
• Strong hydraulics, pumps, mechanical systems and welding/fabrication knowledge.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, schematics and maintenance manuals.
• Familiarity with lockout/tagout procedures and industrial safety protocols.
• Must lift 50 lbs, work in high-temperature environments, and operate industrial tools.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment
• Ensure all maintenance work is performed in compliance with safety standards and company procedures

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join a prominent Heat Treatingfacility. This role requires hands-on experience with heavy industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, proactive in preventative maintenance, and able to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and heat-treating equipment

• Diagnose and repair issues involving hydraulic systems, pumps, motors, and mechanical components
