Job summary

Arcosa Wind Towers, Inc. in Newton, IA is hiring Maintenance Equipment Technicians to perform maintenance on production equipment, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, and support safety programs in a heavy industrial setting.

The role requires reading blueprints/schematics, a high school diploma or GED, and 2+ years of relevant experience. Electrician qualification is preferred, with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant maintenance experience in heavy industrial manufacturing.
• Electrician certification preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to provide clear, explicit verbal directions and create a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic preventive maintenance and repairs on production equipment such as motors, conveyors, mechanical components or electrical wiring and components.
• Perform basic troubleshooting/single phase/240v.
• Follow all safety rules and practices.
• May participate in safety committees or initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
