Job summary

Clayton Homes is hiring a Maintenance Technician for its Morristown, TN facility. You will troubleshoot electrical systems (up to 480V), repair components, and perform preventive maintenance to improve machine output.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in industrial maintenance, experience with electrical meters, hydraulic/pneumatic knowledge, and the ability to work with shop equipment and in a team. Overtime and Saturdays may be required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience as Maintenance Technician in an industrial environment.
• Experience on electrical systems up to 480V.
• Able to demonstrate use of electrical meters and their functions.
• Knowledge of 3 phase voltage and troubleshooting methods.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical concepts.
• Experience with shop equipment, wood, metal or sheet metal.
• Must be able to read and understand equipment manuals.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot causes of malfunctions and repair components as needed.
• Follow safety practices and report unsafe conditions.
• Perform preventative maintenance to improve output.
• Collaborate in a team environment and willing to overtime or Saturdays.
