Job summary

Presrite Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment on our production lines. The role emphasizes preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize equipment reliability.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, CNC machinery, and safety-compliant work habits. A high school diploma and CMMS proficiency are expected, with advanced technical training a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of industrial maintenance or heavy equipment experience.
• Advanced understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanics.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and CNC equipment.
• Comfortable with computers and software used in maintenance management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct and safe operation of equipment and machinery using CMMS for work orders.
• Troubleshoot and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems including conveyors, presses, CNC machines and related equipment.
• Identify faulty equipment through observation and testing and gather parts for repairs.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Manager to update maintenance processes and systems.
• Attend daily shift meetings to prioritize work orders and minimize downtime.
• Safely operate cranes, power tools, hoists and hand tools.
• Assess worn or faulty parts using precision measuring tools.
• Maintain parts and tools inventory through CMMS work orders.
• Enter job/work information into CMMS regularly.
• Adhere to safety and performance standards.
