Responsibilities:

1. Perform a variety of maintenance tasks including troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on plant equipment.
2. This position will have a focus in troubleshooting and repair of electrical and PLC systems.
3. Work as part of a team to safely perform Preventive Maintenance Activities as well as answer break down calls in a Production Environment.
4. Use maintenance knowledge to increase productivity, decrease downtime and waste.
5. Must be able to follow all safety and company policies that include lock-out tag-out procedures.

Basic Qualifications:

1. 1+ Year(s) experience in successfully troubleshooting and repairing PLCs, conveyors, controls, Operating Systems, or other electrical equipment.
2. Current third grade Stationary Engineer license or boiler license; PCA will sponsor.
3. Ability to work any shift, overtime, and weekends as needed.
4. Be Authorized to work in the US.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. A Technical Degree in the Mechanical or Electrical Trades.
2. Experience in the Corrugated Packaging or Printing Industry.
3. Electrical or PLC certification.
4. Experience with drives/PLCs from the following manufacturers: Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Lenze.
5. Basic understanding of ladder logic.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

1. Proficient at working with PLCs.
2. Ability to read electrical blueprints/schematics.
3. Basic computer skills for diagnostic equipment.

Pay and Benefits:

1. Pay range is $29.70 - $44.22 per hour based on skills and experience.
2. 1.5 pay over 8 hours, and over 40 hours.
3. 1.5 pay on Saturday & Sunday.
4. 1.5 pay holidays + additional OT over 8 hours on holidays.

7. PCA provides paid training during active work hours to help technicians advance through the progressive skill levels and achieve higher pay.
8. Technicians supply their own basic hand tools. PCA provides a tool stipend (or replacement) to help technicians maintain basic hand tools. PCA provides all special and heavy tools.
9. PCA provides uniforms as well as all necessary PPE.
