Job summary

Altium Packaging in Columbus, OH is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform repairs and preventive maintenance on blow mold production lines and related equipment, while upholding GMP and safety standards. You will install and adjust equipment, troubleshoot, weld and fabricate as needed, coordinate with other departments, and support varying plant designs on a 12-hour B shift.

Experience in pneumatics and hydraulics and forklift certification preferred to enhance

Qualifications

• Minimum: basic math, basic computer skills and pneumatics/hydraulics knowledge.
• Must have strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Preferred: 2+ years in maintenance within manufacturing.
• OSHA forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, adjust and repair blow mold, trimmers, palletizer and related equipment.
• Perform mold, neck tooling changes, pin and other equipment changes.
• Inspect and replace pneumatic and hydraulic hoses.
• Inspect, rebuild and replace valves and pumps.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all related equipment.
• Weld, fabricate, and repair various machines.
• Troubleshoot root problems and repair blow mold, baggers & support equipment.
